Ordered a 2026 FE MT from a dealer that sold it for MSRP and looking into Exhaust and intake mods. Any luck on fitting aftermarket?
Like the Valvetronic and ARK Performance DT-S Catback Exhaust but after reaching out a couple of times still no answer.
Assume the Cold air intake is the same as any 3.0.
Has anyone driven the final edition compared to older A90 for the suspension setup is different on the FE model.
Coming from driving a track prepped 1979 Volvo 2JZ swap so I'm sure its going to handle like butter:)

Yes I found out about the exhaust when it didn’t fit so I left the two suspension pieces off as they are just braces that either extend upon the subframe possible. I wasn’t thrilled with leaving them off but I wasn’t removing the exhaust. I drove it and honestly feels no difference. I also have a 21 and I can’t fee any difference from that one. However I don’t track the cars and maybe that’s when you would see or feel it being more stiff. And yes intake is the same.

Can you grab some photos of the new bracing?

So it doesn’t have the same hp as the euro version and it feels the same as a ’21. I’m not looking to buy one but that’s a bit disappointing.

Where’s the gt4 style pack? I don’t see it in the build and price tool. At one point I thought it was even supposed to come with a hood vent.

Euro version is basically a different car. We do not get 90% of the upgrades it gets.

North American version does have the Z4 bracing, which will create some clearance issues on certain aftermarket exhausts.

North American version gets the 374mm upgraded front brake calipers/rotors, additional negative camber front knuckles, rear underside Z4 bracing (with M lite diff cover with less cooling fins), reprogrammed EPS, EDC, rear diff. Front tire spats, CF rear ducktail, and I believe the different size front sway bar.

GT4 style pack is coming in the Fall.

Hey! We met at Lime Rock. I drive the white MK5 Supra.

Everything in the engine bay is the same as all the other MK5 Supras so anything will fit. The ONLY difference is six port turbo (2021+) vs two port turbo (2020).

Exhaust is where it get's a little trickier. The FE has the underside Z4 bracing that might have some clearance issues with some aftermarket exhausts.

For what it's worth - I feel the suspension is noticeably stiffer on my 2026 FE compared to my 2024. The 2024 was stock and always felt floaty. The rear end on the FE feels more planted too. Speed bumps in the 2024 always made the back end hop. Doesn't happen in the FE. Now for track use, you still might want some modifications. But overall the FE feels great. Just my 2 cents.

Honestly seeing your car on the track made me pull the trigger on one! I also drove and like the M2 but really it's still a sedan something about being low to the ground and close to that rear axle makes the Driving Experience much more exciting. Plus it looks a thousand times better!

I had the option of waiting for the style pack but you cannot get it just in matte black. It has the gr logo and a couple of other bright red attributes that didn't really catch my eye. For another $8,000 I just didn't think it was worth it.

I like the traditional hood louvers on the Volvo, did you have that done and if so did they work their way around the hood structure or remove it and re weld it in? Anymore images of the hood from the top side?

What a compliment. Probably gave @razorlab a boner for the rest of the day.

Any chance that the part numbers on the dampers and springs differ from 2024 to 2026 FE?

The dampers and springs should be the same as 24. The rear bushings are slightly harder, that’s all.

My MK will be delivered first week of September and I'm trying to assemble some modification stuff because you know no one can keep anything OEM!

I'll drive it for a little bit until it breaks in then was thinking about intake and exhaust. What's your thoughts in terms of handling on spacers and springs? H&R springs and some wheels spacers Tend To Be Commonplace.

Any recommendations on suspension and Exhaust would be helpful for I want to bring it to the track on the weekend.

Cheers
