For those of you with the 3.0 base model, you may or may not already know that the rear rotor is slightly smaller than the 3.0 premium rear rotor. I'm curious if I should have any fitment issues ordering CSG CP or Carbotech AX6 pads, since they don't seem to distinguish on the rear rotors. R1 is the only brand I've found so far that does.

I'm curious to hear your input and see what you guys are running. And as mentioned in the title, I'm looking for brake pads better suited for spirited street driving and occasional track days over stock.

Can't be a lot of help, but I did not have a good experience with R1 Concepts rotors (drilled - on my 5600lbs truck). They started to get cracking between the holes.

Pads are a different story but perhaps others will chime in.

The rotors are staying stock. I'm just looking for pads that have a bit more bite than stock and can handle 5-6 20 minute sessions in a day without fade, but are still street usable.

How about calling CSG and/or Carbotech to confirm their rear pads will fit on a base model?

Project Mu HC+ would work as a street/track pad with stronger fade resistance but it will be difficult to confirm rear fitment.

Honestly, I would think the same rear pad will fit on both base and premium...

I've sent them an email and will call them soon. I was just curious if anyone here already knew.

Had the same issue with a Base model. The base rear rotor is 330mm, ~1/2" smaller than the rear rotor on the premium. So far, the only pad I found to fit rear was the PowerStop. Crazy that they would decrease the rotor diameter in the base vs. premium!

I ended up getting some MX72s. I'm hoping to check out the fitment in the next couple of weeks once I can get a free weekend to do some maintenance work.

Ended up with the same issue -- I got shipped 3.0 premium sized rear pads, which won't fit the base's rear brakes.

Hey bud, we at PhD Racing Lab actually sell the CSG C11 and CP rear brake pads in the correct Base rear caliper size. Both are great for Street and track use. Shoot me a DM and we can help you out!

I have the CSG pads and couldnā€™t be happier. Highly recommend and as Jackie said they fit the rear base model caliper just fine.

Thanks for letting me know!

Endless is swapping the pads free of cost, so I'll see if the new pads they ship are the right size. From having gone through all the Supra recs, it does look like I'll be running CSG CPs once these pads are worn down.

When the time comes to replace my rear rotors and pads, could i just put the larger rotors like the 3.0 prem or would there be a problem there? dumb question but figured i asked..
