3.0 Exhaust On 2.0 With Aftermarket Downpipe

Hello All,

I found an out of this world deal on a AFE Exhaust for a 3.0 near me.

I currently have a Kenji Catless Downpipe and was wondering if there's a way to make the exhaust fit on the 2.0

I saw in the other forum that you can modify the OEM downpipe to make a 3.0 Exhaust fit, and I was wondering if the same can be done for a aftermarket one / if anyone has done it.

Yep it can be done, a decent exhaust shop will be able to make it work, cheap way with just welding, or what I would do, is make it a V band. should only cost a couple hundred bucks

Yup, Just had the factory catback flange cut off and welded to the 3.0 catback.

Kenji 2.0 catless mounted to Megan Race Race pipe for 3.0. They cut a section of the stock muffler with the flang off and welded it to the race pipe. They also used a reducer.
