For a 10 row intercooler or to look like a catfish?

Here is comparison between the two. TBH, it looks unfinished and a crappy hackjob compared to the previous one.

Perhaps the front intake design is preparation for the merger between super gt and DTM. The German challengers all have that design in the front.

Although I believe they could have contoured the front opening more around the nose so it’s not as square

Whats up with the Camo? Are they seriously showing a camo wrapped Supra at the show?

So... What am I supposed to look at exactly that tells me about the German Supra? It'll have an open mouth like that instead of the three smaller ones? That'll be disappointing.

Guys the GT Championship in Japan is the ultimate JDM culture championship.
It has a race every two weeks in most known circuits (Suzuka, Fuji, ...) and consists of two categories , racing at the same time (GT 300/GT500).
The GT500 class has regulations and the cars have 2.0l 4-cylinder direct injection turbo engines with 550hp output limit.
The GT300 class allows the teams to use any engine from the manufacturer with again output restrictions.
Also there are differences in the drivetrain, aero and weight limitations.
So a GT500 GT-R has a 550hp 2.0l 4-cylinder turbo NR20A from nismo and is faster than the GT300 GT-R that has the standard VR38DETT that is heavier.
The new GT500 Supra will likely have a newer version of the Gazoo Lexus LC GT500 engine .
Performance doesn't appeal to the cars actual production performance, although official teams develop aero parts and other components and technologies athat are later on offered (nismo N-Attack pack for the GT-R used in the record 07:08 lap)

Sorry to disappoint you but that's never the case.... Those are pure racing engines developed by the manufacturers.
