I lowered the car last night with MSS lowering springs. Took my time to unplug all sensors as necessary prior to undoing anything else.

Install went pretty well, I thought. As soon as it hit the ground, I herd a warning sound/ notification from inside the car. Open the door, and on the info screen, I Have the Error message that Parking break is Malfunctioning.

So Did I actually F something up? Or is this normal and I need to reset stuff/ Clear codes? Any advice is helpful.

Never encountered it myself...did you start the car? Engage and disengage the parking brake? Error still there?

I sent the ECU off to get unlocked last week and I'm waiting to get it back. Somewhat in limbo until it arrives. I'm hoping I can get it to reset once the ECU is back. It's just weird it started throwing codes. If I did f* one of the sensors underneath , can you help me with which one pretends to the e-brake.. everything looks normal upon visual inspection but reading other, they're fairly sensitive.

You sent your DME off to get unlocked and want us to diagnose a "heard a noise when I lowered the car" and assuming an old photo?

homie....come on..

Also not even providing a photo of the parking assemblies and their current condition? Did you even look?

I like the part where he described the sound of the noise and where it came from

Get the ECU back
Clear the codes
Try using the car normally
See what comes back and go from there

The noise that came from inside the car was a warning ding and it literally happened as soon as it touched the ground. When I open the door is when it showed the notification of the picture I provided.

That's the plan I just was hoping to get ahead of an issue if it's something I caused. There's literally six different sensors on each wheel. mainly trying to figure out which one pertain to the parking brake.

I know it sounds stupid and it seems slightly ignorant with this post. The point of this was to try to get ahead of the issue, while I'm waiting. Or, If it's something I actually caused, and need to replace a part.
Visually, everything looks intact underneath. I spent hours scouring forms trying to figure out which sensor actually pertains to the parking brake.

Some suggest it could be the ride height sensor, others suggest dead battery, along with a whole slew of other s*** . I was just hoping to get some real answers from someone who may have experienced something similar.

Just relax and take it as it comes. Get your ecu back, get it running, make sure the battery is good, clear the code and see it the message returns and/or see if the PB works and give it some cycles and see if the message go's away. I'd just be guessing if I thought I knew what it was but remember with most cars these days they take a while for the modules to go into sleep mode after turning off and if you disconnect something before that happens well who knows what the system flags.
