2.0 ohms, I went with the Bride resistor and on the website it listed 2.0 ohms for BMWs
yea i have that bride resistor too and i didnt plug it in yet, because i didnt want to trickle with airbag on the supra yet incase the airbag pops.

i think it has to do with special coding that we need to disable it. I really hope someone will be able to figure this out soon. i hate to bring the car to state inspection after 5 years and i have to put the oem seat back on just for the airbag light

well normally this will be the same as on BMW cars which is 3 ohm.
I have used a 3ohm resistor in my BMW M135 and M140 when installing bucket seats.

do you know if there is a company that supplies a cover to replace the stnd armwrest with cupholder?
Since installing my bucket seat in the Supra the armwrest is way to high and big.
My bucket seat is extremely low as I'm 6.6" but since I'm sitting so low I now hot the centre armwrest.

I've already removed that plastic part and it's way better, but very messy.
So if someone can design a, thin as possible, plastic/carbon part I know there's a market :)

With the current setup I have +4 fingers room above my head.
With the stock seat this was only 1.

Seat is a Cobra Suzuka GT width for big ppl :)

With a 3 ohm one you're not seeing the airbag warning light on the Supra?

Still have to install them but thatā€™s what works on a BMW f20 M135/M140 so i would assume also on the Supra.

how did you guys mount the stock seatbelt attachement on the bucket seats??

originally the lower part of the seatbelt mounts to the stock seat?

Ok 3 Ohm doesnā€™t do the trick.
I get the warning but it states driver safety belt system. (but itā€™s the airbag light).

So must be different ohm?

Think it might be deeper than that, which could involve some kind of BMW coding. I tried 2 ohm and same issue here.

Just measured. I was actually using 4 ohm resistors as the BMW M140 uses an airbag in the seat with 4 ohm resistance.

when i measure the resistance in the Supraā€™s seat it says 3 ohm.
So i think using a 3 ohm resistor will disable the light.

When i read the troublecodes with Carly for BMW it actually had an error: airbag driver seat resistance too high.
(And the airbag warning light)

so i reset the codes and used a 1.8 ohm resistor.

I still have the light but the error code for the driver seat airbag stays away.

So the airbag light is also triggered due to the errorcode: C95442
Driverā€™s seat module (seat position, seat back lock)

Does anyone know how to fix this error without resorting to use of ESTA?

how did you do this? you just buy 1.8 resistors and plug it on the yellow module?

I bought seats from a bmw from the scrapyard.
Modified the stock rails to mount the bucketseats extra low and took the yellow connector from that seat.

cut the cables from the blue plug from that seat and soldered the resistor between the 2 ends.

Did that worked?

Yes. I now only have the light due to the car not spotting the position of the electric seats.

so Iā€™ll have to get that coded out anyway using ESTA.

so you might be better of also coding the airbags out in the end :)

I have mine installed this week. No major issues, fits and everything, only thing we havenā€™t figured out is how to deal with the side airbag light, but itā€™s not beeping/preventing you from turning off TC, I should say that I have put a resistor on the side airbag thingy and it didnā€™t do a thing.
hey man. Do you know where should we insert the airbag canceler? Do you have pictures? There are so many ports!!!

How's it going everyone! I was wondering if anyone has any info on what OHMs resistor they are using for the airbag module?
