Another intake option I don't see talked about often is from aFe. Enclosed intake box (polymer) and comes with a turbo inlet. Costs much less than Eventuri or HKS. Decent turbo noise improvement. It will never be as loud as an unenclosed intake, but something to consider as an option more resistant to heat soak.
Installed the Takeda Momentum Cold Air Intake System w/Pro Dry-S Filter today. We'll see how it does. So far so good.

Installed the Takeda Momentum Cold Air Intake System w/Pro Dry-S Filter today. We'll see how it does. So far so good.
It's practically identical to the Injen EVO 2300, and the EVO lets a plethora of turbo noises escape.

Just curious, what did you guys do with your stock air intake?

Im about to get the CTS AIr intake and want to see if there is a market for the stock or just throw it away?
Keep it in case you decide to go back to stock or sell the car. It’s not a big piece.

Just curious, what did you guys do with your stock air intake?

Im about to get the CTS AIr intake and want to see if there is a market for the stock or just throw it away?
keep it, once its time to sell the car, you can remove the CTS and sell it separately for extra cash

Of course, this only works if you are doing the install yourself.
If you are paying a mechanic, it's not worth it, so you can discard the stock intake.
