Thanks for the great info about fitment, smashing that strut bar may make it fit, as pics show, but that may compromise structual integrity ( there’s a reason why they bolt that into frame of car) too bad there wasn’t a CAI that actually fits the newer car with those struts. Thanks for all the pics

Maybe a washer under the bar as a spacer?

Washer?, no, better yet, a CAI that fits properly on the 2021 car.

Is this your first car? There are a variety of intakes that fit with strut bars. MST, ARMA Speed, etc.

2020, someone with a 2021 wrote in the forums that he got the injen evolution intake on his vehicle, it was a tad tricky but he managed to push the airbox properly down and got the strut above the box.

not my first car, it’s my first German car though! Pics would be nice in regards to the CAI u mentioned, pics of injen clearly showed a fitment problem, although “ modification “ Of strut bar made it work (somewhat) I’m not taking a hammer to a $50+ k car PS if your gonna spend $400-$500+ for a CAI it better fit correctly!

The injen intake is the most popular option for us, i strongly recommend it. We just received a pallet of Supra intakes a few days ago :D

I run with an eventuri intake on my 21. No issues with the strut bars.. wallet is empty though.

Do the Cusco strut bars sit higher? Achieve a better look (in my opinion) and better fitment for less than Eventuri...

Injen is fine for the 2020, it doesn’t fit under the strut bar on the 2021! I’ve see pics, doesn’t fit!

I just finished installing the Cusco Power Brace. Looks great and is likely more effective than factory bars. It cleared my Injen intake by about an inch.
