I can't believe that people are still going on about this thing.

And thankful for it. Who can afford those other cars? If the Supra had the performance numbers of those other cars, I wouldn't be able to afford one. We should be aplauding Toyota for offering a reasonably affordable high performance sports car.

Vote with the wallets, not with the words people. The Chevrolet SS was the enthusiast "dream". V8, stick, four doors, and a sleek (albeit boring) design. Yet they barely sold and it was quickly discontinued.

I’ve been hearing countless arguments that the Supra is a BMW. But how come I’ve never heard people saying that the Z4 is a Toyota? It’s a collaboration between BMW and Toyota. Just wondering....​

I'm pretty sure you are joking, but I'm sure BMW would be saying that if their precious Z4 was ALL Toyota ie.) engine, suspension, tuning, etc...

Why is the price on the R34 so high? Wasn't it more like 40k? I think you have to compare prices all in the same year.

~50k in '99 from memory; it definitely wasn't cheap, but it wasn't NSX money either
