oh sorry i didn't mean to misdirect you lol. i was tinkering with other stuff so i didnt want my car to be running, so i just ran it in diagnostic mode to keep all the lights on lol. [i have a feeling IF you weren't using cig lighter as power source(the instruction said to) the box might not have enough juice.] But good luck lol.

Can you please link the one you got? Is this one considered the fastest one?Some updates in regards to my experience with this box.(i did get the PRO version(more/better cooling fans), not sure if/how bad the cooling is on the reg one).i don't think i have any heating issues, it always just felt normal. no "hot to the touch".
-i've noticed some lags/hiccups/freeze whenever i get text/other app notifications. so i turned off some sound notifications from within the Ai box, its appears to run better/ smoother now.(also close any extra apps opened from the box android os,deleted apps that i have no use.)
-HUD, i've seen a few people/reddit asking about this. guess this is a makeshift solution for those that want directions to appear on HUD(cluster included)+AA. I was able to run the in-car navigation along with AA( i was using Waze). However, obviously, the directions do not match up fully but they get you to the same destination so lol. you can mess with the route settings and what-not to your preference.[setup alternate routes/local vs highway?] In picture 4 if you zoom into the HUD display you can see the direction, sorry i wasnt able to snap a better pic to show that.

yes that's the one, i got mine from the official site because amazon didn't have it at the time. dam its way cheaper on amazon right now with the discount/coupon.
Its from Torque Pro(main app,costs $5 from playstore) then install "AA Torque" onto AA. (need to enable AA developer mode/unknown resources). And yes you'd need an OBD bluetooth adapter, i'm using Obdlink CX. I wasn't able to connect obd to the Ai box itself, though i didn't really try to tinker with it much.
