Not a Corvette.
Having gone through the new ROM hell after using ISTA to update and almost half my logging items working incorrectly, with bm3 taking months with no fixes yet I would highly recommend not updating if you tune your own car of if you don’t hate your tuner.

Even just getting a new updated ROM to flash the car with bm3 took awhile.

If you think you can just take your current tune and flash it again after updating via ISTA. Think again. You cannot.

I'm getting it done since I don't have an ECU tune. Hopefully BimmerCode will be updated to allow Stop/Start memory etc. That is my only reservation.

I don’t have an ECU tune either. Do you think it would make it hard for aftermarket service or mechanics to work on it? I know we had to wait for updates to roll out on the expensive shop computers.

Should 4.47.45 be July 2024?

It may have been released in July 2024, but iDrive is dated (24-03) March 2024.
Hmm ok I wonder if there is a new one for the DCM Recall?

For anyone who has successfully installed Techstream and ISTA on Windows 11, are you running Home or Professional?

I ask because the “official” requirements from Toyota and BMW list Windows 10 Professional, but obviously Windows 11 does work (I believe @razorlab mentioned as such a few pages back). Hoping to confirm before I buy a Windows machine.

I just licensed ISTA and GTS+ for two days on a Win11 machine. Completed about 10 days ago. Just installed GTS+ and the very latest ISTA+ link on the TechStream website. GTS installs first, do a login to complete the license. Then install ISTA and start it.

Awesome info. Is your Win11 Home or Pro edition?
