Saw this on my door jamb today. My car is used so this kinda caught me off.

It's not an uncommon thing. My Civic Type-R, which was brand new) also had it. It has nothing to do with your car being used. I am positive almost all Supras will have it.

There's no "CAUTION: LOAD CARRYING CAPACITY REDUCED" sticker on my 2021 3.0:

I don't know why my originally listed carrying capacity is also so much higher than yours, 559 lbs vs. 473 lbs.

Likely due to a port- or dealer-installed accessory of some sort. Some inane federal reg probably requires this.

Yup, my car has one of these. I bought mine brand new and itā€™s been there day one.

my car had a seat belt recall if I remember correctly done at the dealer before I picked her up. Perhaps it was related to that work.

I also have this sticker. I wonder if it has to do with the tire changes from PSS to PS4S? Different tires have different load caps.

We see it a lot with our new cars.. typically it's because the car has an option here or there. Nothing at all to worry about.

Let's say hypothetically your car has an option that the one they rated the load capacity with doesn't, your LB difference goes on the sticker.

Dumb little thing, just laws being weird.

Itā€™s Interesting how yours has the VIN number and mine doesnā€™t

I guess the warning sticker bombardment is to some extent a USA thing due to regulation and fear of being sued.

I have no stickers whatsoever on my Supra luckily since they all look like shit, but then again, I am in Sweden.

Mine does not. Glad I don't have to lay off the donuts cause that can quickly put 5 lbs on my belly making the car dangerous.
