Hello everyone, I have been looking around and could not find much info on this. I am interested in any experience with the one that underdrives, and all I could find was a few people in the forum that have used one, but on stock ratio and not underdrive.
I know that if I use the 10% underdrive, it will not be much of a change or issue for the car, but I am interested on the 21% underdrive one, and wanted to see if someone had used it. I mainly want to make sure it will be ok for daily driving. For what I could find on other cars, even a 25% underdrive was fine and didnt reduce the water pump or alternator output too much to be a danger to the engine or a problem with the electrical system.
I sent the question to the people at ATI but have not received any response yet unfortunately.
Thank you for any insights.

the water pump is electric my dude. there is nothing to underdrive but the alternator/ac and it clutches itself off anyway. waste of money unless you need the damper for some reason (rpm/built engine)

I might be getting crazy, but as far as I have seen, the main water pump is mechanical driven by the belt and there is an electric one for the turbo and intercooler?

That's correct, one mechanical waterpump for the high temp circuit (engine coolant) and one electric one for the low temp circuit (auxiliary/charge cooler)

I think I remember reading somewhere that the turbocharger has its own electric pump as well, but that might be misinformation.

Thanks for the replies guys. But I guess there is no first hand experience with the underdrive ones?
My idea is simply for cutting some of the parasitic loads on the engine and also extending a bit the life of the accesories connected to the system.
I wont get a hundred hp, but it also doesnt cost that much.
