Figured I should post this here, in case anyone wants to try and research further. Not the answer, but maybe a hint towards a solution:

So I was experimenting and well.. this is going to sound crazy but I actually got it to do something. I went for a short drive after coding the items below I derived from information on a BMW site and well.. the seat moved after I had turned off the car.. just not how I wanted it to.

Now of the three times I got out of the car, it did this only once. But I'm telling you it did it!

Some considerations I gleamed from my research on the BMW site:

1. The original seat position is important as if its too far back or too far forward, easy entry won't work for safety reasons.
2. The steps I take when exiting the car might be important, ie: engine off then clutch out, etc. - I have no idea what order I tend to do it or if I even did something different that one time.

Having said this, I do believe coding easy entry is possible in our cars but it's going to take some experimenting and hard work.

If someone wants to investigate further, here are the codes I changed:

Code:
Seat Module Driver > 3000 > EASY_ENTRY from nicht_aktiv to aktiv
Seat Module Driver > 3000 SM_GLOBAL > Einausstiegshilfe > from nicht_aktiv to Werte = 03
Seat Module Driver > 3012 EAH > EAH_VERFAHRWEG_SLV_PHYS from Werte=0x00 0x1E to Werte=0x00, 0x64
Seat Module Driver > 3012 EAH > EAH_SCHUTZFREIRAUM_HINTEN_SLV_PHYS from Werte = 0x00 0x64 to Werte=0x00, 0x00.
The last two codes (four entries) are related to how far the seat moves. I think these are key. Also, here is the BMW forum thread I read through as a starting point.

Technically, we seem to have the "Modus_FA_SLV" setting missing from Einausstiegshilfe but that may be invoked by selecting Werte=03 above as suggested in the linked thread.

EDIT: Added some bold in case anyone thought I was somehow under their employ. ?

You know I'm not a big fan of this sort of stuff for one reason only really. I'm not sure the components are actually engineered for this degree of repetitive usage. I know the windows drop every time the door opens and closes but this is a design necessity. Still makes me cringe though.
Remember the manufacturer couldn't care less about wear and tear component failure after the warranty expires. I just remember needing to replace the seat tracks in my wifes car years ago and wondered why the hell they had worn out. Then I noticed she slid the seat back every time she got out of the car and then put it back again to drive. This was totally unnecessary for her to do as the car wasn't hard to enter or get out of and she was young and fit. She just did it because it was a little bit easier.
I just not convinced the seat adjustment componentry is engineered for this usage medium/long term.

Yea it was also for this reason I intentionally turned off the easy entry/exit feature on my other vehicle. (I couldn't turn off the movement on the steering, so it still moves backward/forward everytime I get in/out, will see how long that motor lasts)

I owned an S2000 for a decade+, the ingress/egress on the Supra actually feels like a dream, to me.

A valid point but I'm not convinced BMW would have different seat motors for a stock seat mechanism; besides, this is all covered under our 5 year warranty.

And in any case, I currently set position 1 for egress and position 2 as my driving position, so automating the process would in no way reduce the longevity of the seat motors for my use case.

Waiting for you to enter the fray and do some experimentation. And I added some bold to my original post, in case you missed it the first time: Many hands make light work.

Also, here is a second BMW thread with more valuable information, for those looking to help.

Yea if you only keep a car for 3-5 years then it's not going to be an issue. Longer than that, maybe.

UPDATE:

Still fooling around with settings, nothing new to report as yet but I did reach out to BimmerCode support who are absolutely useless.

I wrote:

Hello, a group of us are trying to get easy entry to work on our Supras (we only use Bimmercode Z4 to code) and we’re close but was hoping for some help. I see that in the demo, easy entry is a non expert code and was hoping you would be kind enough to share the expert codes behind this function so we can experiment please? Beyond that, are you able to add “Modus_FA_SLV “ as an option to 3000 SM_GLOBAL > EINAUSSTIEGSHILFE” to the Z4 expert codes so we can try to invoke it that way? Also I have coded a number of things that you may wish to add in non-expert mode which a number of us have tested and know to function well. Happy to share our findings! Any help you can provide us would be much appreciated! Thanks
To which they replied:

If you choose the Z4 in the vehicle connection and select the seat module you may be able to see the easy entry option in the basic coding mode. If this does not show up then there is no way to enable this function. Works for certain seat modules and configurations only.
Thanks for ignoring the bulk of my request and providing zero assistance. ?
