My brand new 2022 2.0 does this as well; windows on both driver & passenger-sides are just barely visible after auto-roll down.

I feel like it has something to do with the auto-roll (down & up) when opening/closing the doors.
Mine does the exact same thing.
I got the best advice from @SD_MK ,
"If it ain't broke, don't fix it."
So I just rock it the way it is because being a perfectionist can cause more harm than good

Roll the window all the way up. Then hold the window button down and continue to hold until it’s closed all the way, once the window is fully down continue to hold the window button down for about 3 to 5 seconds. Then roll window up and continue to hold throughout the entire window movement and once the window is closed continue to hold the up window for 3 to 5 seconds
It won't go all the way down on 1 click and hold. I have to click it a second time

Always thought it was stupid that it didn’t go all the way down so decided to try this. The very first time I unlocked the car and pressed and held the driver side switch the window went the whole way down. I didn’t hold the button since I was just seeing how the window reacted to me holding the switch down. After that it would only go to the “stop point” and never again the whole way down. Thought maybe it was because it was the first time after being unlocked. Locked the car, unlocked it, still didn’t replicate it. Thought maybe it had to be completely shut down i.e. locked for 6+ minutes. Locked it, waited 10-15 minutes, unlocked it, still didn’t happen again. Thought I haven’t tried the passenger side yet, reached over, also didn’t go the whole way down. Figured if I can do one window but not the other that will drive my OCD insane so after all that I’m leaving them alone. For reference, BMW forum for Z4 also having the same issue resetting it. Perhaps that isn’t the process for this platform.

I’ve finally figured it out, I was having the same issue on my 2.0.

What you need to do:

Make sure the car is fully off and windows rolled all the way up.

Start the car with pedal + ignition(engine running).

Auto roll either both or just the problem window down(you should be left with the window glass still slightly exposed).

Press and hold the window button all the way down and hold for 20 seconds(the exposed glass will disappear in the process).

Pull the window button all the way up, hold until the window is fully closed and continue to hold the button for another 20 seconds whilst the window is closed.

Now auto roll the window down and the issue should be fixed. Also just to note, the first time you roll the window down the glass will be completely hidden. After that you will see the glass but it will be flush with the door frame.

Hope this helps

Tried this method several times with no luck. Passenger side stops 1/2" from full down. Dealer told me it's normal.
Must be a BMW thang. Toyota would never make this error. ?
