Has anyone tried any of their kits?

The reviews are quite encouraging and appears to be very easy to use with high hydrophobic and dirt repelling qualities.

The reason I'm asking here is because we all have the same car essentially. While there are plenty of reviews online, they vary from McLaren owners to 15 year-old Civics, so outcome and expectations vary based on budget, longevity and driving conditions/frequency.

With that being said, my Supra is a daily so high gloss and shine is less of a priority than hydrophobic and ease of regular maintenance/washings.

Any pros/cons and other recommendations are welcome.

Have never tried any of their kits. I use Meguire's Professional "M888 Beyond Ceramic Paint Coating" on my 24 Corvette Z06 and will be using it on my 24 GR Supra soon. When I was doing my research on what to purchase, I checked out the torture tests online for M888 and was impressed at the durability. In your case looking for the durability more so than the shine, check out the torture tests they put these coatings through online. However, I'm very happy with the shine too. Easy to apply and very forgiving. I do the outside and inside barrels of my wheels with it too.

I’m not normally pro anything that’s pushed heavily by YouTubers and that’s all I see Avalon king pushed by. I use Adam’s graphene coating but that’s me

I have used Optimum Opti-Coat in the past on my cars, but it appears that they now want a professional installer to do it for you (Which is bullshit) instead of selling it to the public.

Whatever coating you use, make sure your paint is PERFECT before coating.

I applied Avalon King (whatever version) two years ago on my '21 Absolute Zero. I give it two thumbs up. For me, it lasted two years before the hydrophobic quality dissipated. The shine really highlights the pearlescence in the Absolute Zero paint. My Supra is outside all summer, but hibernates in the garage for four months due to -20C ( -4 Fahrenheit) cold salty winters.

I hand wash in the driveway, and only wand wash once or twice a year. I treat her gently. I'll be recoating with A/K "MAX" in the Spring.

I've used Avalon King a few times, with mixed results. If you get a good bottle, you can get a couple years, but I've had it go away after six months too. It is very easy to work with, FWIW. My current goto is Nasiol ZR53. Goes on and levels easy, gives a nice slick finish, and seems to last the three years it claims.
