This is what JB4 saw, obviously everything is related to the dead battery, hopefully it didn’t screw anything up

How did you jump it? Use the jump point under the hood?

Also interesting to know how/why your battery died in the first place.

I have a pretty interesting answer to this problem, I guess when you turn off your car and exit the vehicle the car isn’t actually off the accessories are still on. To completely shut off the car you’re supposed to push and hold the volume button on the stereo to turn all the accessories off? Sounds a little weird to me but that’s what my technician told me. I parked my car in the garage so most of the time I don’t hit the lock button on the key fob, I think if you hit the lock button on the key fob and also completely shut the car off. And yes I jumped it from underneath of the hood, positive terminal and negative on the strut tower brace thing

All interior electronics should shut off after 7 minutes regardless of if it's locked or not. Sounds like you have a real electrical gremlin in your car.

Maybe, we’ll see! I don’t usually keep a car longer than 6 months, so at least my problems won’t last long ???

I thought all the happened when you installed your downpipe. Something about the O2 sensor wire getting twisted and shorting out somewhere?

I was wrong, the O2 sensor was completely dis-connected when I “thought” I saw it arc
.After thinking about it and my window not rolling down a half inch when I popped the hood latch confirmed that it was dead before I even started the downpipe

Maybe you need to hook up a battery charger and let it get back to full capacity. Sound like the car is trying to function on a low charge battery.

It is, but I was told it take a special battery charger? It’s at the dealership, they’re going to charge it and clear the codes

Do yourself a favor and pick up one of these battery tenders and always have it connected if you’re going to leave the car parked more than a day.

What's nice about this one is it has an AGM setting for our battery. Might be the "special battery charger" your dealer was talking about.

I‘ve rarely had a battery last more than 3 years in my hot salty area. So I bought a PowerTex LiPO4 battery for the Supra. Same brand is in my MX5 & works like a charm. The “battery management” light came on the other day. I figured I might as well swap it out. Going in next month for some track prep stuff anyway.

Bump.

My 2023 is now also giving me this warning message. If I don't drive the car for 2-3 days I see this same "Start Engine Battery Management" warning. I've always been disciplined about putting a trickle charger on the car if I'm not going to drive it for more than a week or two and it's always parked in a heated garage.
