I used the ProClip for a few weeks then took it off to see how it looks. The "warping" was enough of a concern to stop using it. It ruturned about 95% normal. I think it would be terrible after being installed for a year or more.
I just installed this one yesterday, in my opinion it's pretty solid. The proclip one can warp the trim, this one clips to one of the vents (which i'm not sure if that will get dented or something over time but we'll see). I have it mounted to the right of the hazard button, and i put it upside down to have a little more support on the back so it doesnt wobble around when you drive. One concern I have about this is the clip moves up and down so i'm worried about it possibly chewing away at the leather on the bottom. Will keep an eye on it. Works great, keeps the phone in a good spot to check your playlist, maps, etc. A lot cheaper than proclip as well which is why I opted for it.I really like my current setup. Super sturdy, right where I want it, super clean. Mous case and Magsafe vent mount.
