Question about bimmercode, other then having the ability to change some of the idiosyncrasies of the Supra, what else can it do in relation to the performance aspect??

Not for performance. But i felt the license fee was worth it just to recall the auto engine start/stop the next time I get in the car. Hard to terrorize the neighborhood when the engine shuts off at the stop at the end of the alley.

So the "locked" ecu doesn't stop me from shutting off the dreaded start/stop with bimmercode?
I have the software but was unsuccessful at permanently turning off start/stop.
Any help would be greatly appreciated as I hate it.
I installed a start/stop cancel module in my '17 highlander which works great but nobody makes one for MK V.?

Germans gonna German. So you can't turn it off per se. But you can program it to recall setting last time you drove. So you turn it off once and leave it off. Car won't automatically turn it on again on your next drive.

Ok, sounds like just what I want. Should I set it at Active or not active. I tried not active and it failed to work. Maybe I'm not saving correctly. ?

I believe it's a positive setting. AS in Remember Auto Start/Stop. But honestly, google it. you'll see videos and stuff. it's very common setting.

It's worth it to use the app once to set some nice settings, but you could easily have your buddy at a meet who did pay for the adapter and app (like $100 easily total) program your car for you
