Nobody ever believes me when I tell them I legit get 35mpg on the highway. I've supercruised reasonable distances at nearly 50mpg when I'm not in a hurry.

All the V8 guys are like "bro I get 12" and ask for pics. Makes me chuckle.

B58 is quite the engine to give us 35mpg but also 1000HP potential.

Facts. I road-tripped Chicago to Detroit yesterday for work and got 36 mpg with cruise control set at 78 mph the whole way.

Yup, everyone is just aww struck when I bring that up. I hadn't even looked into that when I was getting the car nor cared. Was coming from a 2021 Mach 1 handling pack optioned car that got about 25-26mpg and I was happy with that. On my way home from picking up the car I was floating between 36-37 mpg and I couldn't believe it. Typically I'm seeing around 36 with most of my cruising speeds.

I agree with most of what’s been said (minus the stealing part) but I love the fact that under boost, cruising the speed limit on the highway can get me around 35 mpg.

I picked up my 23' from Toyota at Tuskaloosa, AL and drove it back home to Columbus, OH (about 625 miles). Drove almost all the way in normal mode, stopped for fuel only 3 times, and that 3rd stop was in my home town. Amazing mpg for a sports car!

I drove from columbus to Cleveland last week on a single tank and my lost range miles for 120 miles trip up was only 13 lol. One of the reasons I bought this thing was the cruisablity! Coming from driving basically nothing over 13 my whole life ?

I had no idea the auto could get that mpg!

I wish my MT had a longer 6th or final drive. It’s sits pretty high at highway speeds. The benefit to that 8 speed is that 80mph 2K rpm cruise.

I have the same issue in my Emira, so what I’ve been doing is lowering the drive mode (Touring) and then throwing it in 6th and just cruising with low power gains. Keeps the miles high and gas longevity. Still can’t come close to the Supra though. 315 miles per take vs 215 miles per tank on the Emira.

Having owned both, yeah, the MT sits sooo much higher on the highway, 1000+ RPM difference. It's part of the overall "high-strung" character of the MT car, which I happen to love.

Not a Corvette.
You really need to calculate MPG over a whole tank of gas. Short trips or even a couple hour trips are really only going to show a very small percentage.

Miles ÷ gallons of gas = MPG
