Apparently, your "tuner" has adjusted the map on the tune to cut out the "intentional" misfire/fuel dump when you let off the gas pedal.....probably done to help get a proper read from the O2 sensors to adjust for AFR/rich/lean conditions especially on the lesser grade fuels. Putting it back in is probably what the re-flashed map did but this will probably affect overall performance on the non-stock maps..........Just a thought.......

Anyone ever found a solution for this problem?
I'm having the exact same issue. No burbles at all with BM3 Stage 2 multimap or E30 AGG map.
I set burble settings to "OTS" on all slots, but it dosen't do anything.

Ever try reflashing?
Also, you're clicking on SAVE CHANGES right ?

Just to further root cause, ever tried 91 or 93oct etc??

Or did you ever think about just enjoying the fact they’re gone? 😁

Yes. I tried both Stage 1 & 2.
Fuel tank is currently filled up with E30, so thats the tune I'm running for testing.

I also tried re-enabling ASD with Bimmercode, running both ASD on & off with the bm3 diagnostics, but still nothing.

hmm, though it's not really related, does bimmerLINK exhaust flap open/close do anything? Sport Mode? See fumes coming from right tips? probably doesn't help as it should work in normal drive mode as well, but what the hell.
did it ever work?
any codes.
like a lost item, trace back all changes you may have done until last time it worked :)
Says 2020, so if you don't have to bench/femto unlock, as last resort, try setting back to factory?

Flap is set to auto atm.
I will try to tinker a bit more with the settings before contacting Protuningfreaks.
Hopefully they can send me a test map.

Since I have a EU model, burbles has never worked for me. Got removed after the last service update due to EU regulations.

When I flashed to BM3 CustomROM stage1 or stage2 this happened to me too.

The car does still burble here and there, but nothing like stock....and I'm catless too.

I would love to scrap the burbles altogether. I love my high flow cat and unresonated Touring exhaust except the burbles are a bit too much.

I sent a mail to their support. No answer yet, but hopefully they have a solution for this problem. Will update if I find out anything usefull.

Update: So I reached out to Protuningsfreaks/BM3 support, and after some talk, they ended up sending me a updated Stage 2 Multimap OTS tune.
This solved the problem. Burbles are now working just fine.

How about when you switch maps via steering wheel? Burbles stay?

Slightly unrelated question. Can you switch maps within the multimap via phone/laptop instead of steering wheel?
