And yet, in any price point, you find vehicles that have been smoked in, etc., along with the normal wear and tear of any vehicle that’s preowned.

Not to mention you could be spending $100K+ on a "money shifted" Porsche... which looked absolutely perfect and be really screwed.

Hey everybody, just wanted to give y'all an update.

I drove the 3.0 yesterday but the CarMax location had some "unspoken rule" where you couldn't take a car worth more than $50k on a 24 hour test drive. The original owner definitely used Bimmercode to take out fake engine noise and a couple other things. I didn't get a great chance to poke around the engine bay and obviously didn't get a PPI done. It all seemed a little too sketchy and decided not to go for it.

HOWEVER I did drive a new 2021 2.0 in Turbulence Gray today and thought it was a great fit so decided to move on that! I pick her up on Thursday and will post the obligatory pictures.

This forum has been extremely informative over the past year or so I've been keeping tabs on it and I'm excited to be a full fledged owner very soon!

Congrats and good to listen to your inner car sense and move past the 3.0 that was not in order.

The 2.0 is a great package and more than capable. Its a Supra. Enjoy it in good health and safety.
My 2.0 is a great machine. Its much quicker than most think as well !

Oh yea - as you can tell here many folks post about things that your OWNERS MANUAL will tell you. Give it a good read and learn about your Supra!
