Hi All,

First post on here, hopefully not my last.

Looking for my next car.

Currently running 2022 Audi TT but racking up the miles at a fair rate and looking to sell before the resale value takes a massive hit!

Before I go looking for a GR to road test, how much space is there in the cabin?
Im a stocky 6 foot 5 but easily fit in the AudI!

Are there any tall owners out there and if so how do you get on, especially on long commutes and road trips?

Thanks in advance for the help and advice.

I'm 6'2" with a 33" inseam and about 210 lbs. I fit ok, but have to duck my head to get into the car (which is a common thing it sounds like). The space inside is acceptable, but not what I'd call roomy. I'm comfortable though with the base seats and have done 8+ hour road trips without issue.

I had a C8Z and 2015 Cayman GTS prior to the Supra. In order of cabin space it went Cayman, Supra, C8Z. But the Cayman had far more space than the other two. I haven't sat in a modern Audi, so I don't know a good comparison to that.

I'd suggest finding one to sit in to see what you think simply because body types are so different.

I'm 6' 3" and it was like a clown show getting in and out, the sloping roof line is a pig.
I also found that after a couple of long journeys, (6 hours plus) I had severe muscle ache on the right leg for some reason.

That's ultimately what lead to me getting rid of mine, just a bit too cramped - shame really as it was brilliant in other respects.

All I can suggest is to get a test drive in one. :)

While not tall, I'm 5'11" and there's definitely times I wish I could push the seat back another 1-2 inches. You can tell that this was a car designed in Japan. I can't imagine someone 6'2"+ or with longer legs than me having a comfortable driving experience in this car, sadly.

replace the rear trunk brace. you'll be able to move the seat back more + eliminate a rattle that the plastic piece will cause soon lol win win

I'm 6'3, 230lbs. But I'm short legs, long torso. So I JUST get enough leg room. I wouldn't fit in the car if it wasnt for the double bubble roof. But I can confirm I don't fit in the car in the stock seats with a helmet on. Ive done 12 hour days in this car and it was behind comfortable though. More comfy than my F150, Bronco, s2000 or Malibu. Go figure.

Ok guys,

I need to either take this off the list or start looking to buy.

A very long shot, but does anyone have a car I can try for size in the East Suffolk area? All the cars for sale seem to be absolutely miles away....

I do regularly see one coming out of Saxmundham but obviously don't want to stalk the owner!!

Anyone able to help?

Thanks

You might be better off posting the request on one of the UK Supra pages/groups on Facebook, they seem very active with people that are generally not on this forum. (Which is a shame, forums are much better platform for info sharing!)

Hi All,

Well, Going To find out tomorrow if it is yeh or neh.
Found one at a main dealer fairly local so going for a fitting…!:D
Will report back how I get on.

Another question or 2, is the interior space the same for 2 and 3 litre models?
Which engine is better overall for day to day driving?

Thanks!

I recommend watching Mat Watson’s Carwow reviews of the 3 litre and 2 litre Supras on YouTube. He loves the 3 litre. In the 2 litre review, he concludes that it’s a decent car but advises anyone considering buying it to never drive the 3 litre because they’ll regret their decision.
