Having just installed the Remark exhaust, I should note that mine has some significant drone at 2000rpm & again between 3200-3500rpm. I've paired the Remark with an AMS catted downpipe. Outside of the drone ranges, in Sport mode & just daily driving I find it quieter than stock exhaust (paired w/ catless downpipe), and louder in normal/comfort. It's definitely too quiet during deceleration, and I find myself glancing at the dash to know when to downshift, whereas I could easily hear the rpm while running catless DP w/ stock exhaust. It does sound nice at WOT though... and it's really pretty.

I expect I'll probably move to HKS catback.
I’m planning on running the stock dp so maybe it won’t drone as much?? From videos I’ve seen with stock dp, apparently the car back itself is just a bit deeper and louder with valves open

MBRP with carbon fiber tips. Maintains original sound, but more aggressive. Comes out when you give it some gas, but great with normal driving.

+1 for magnaflow. Perfect if you want to have options out of a single exhaust system

I got an AMS catted DP and AWE resonated touring sitting in my garage waiting to go on after car gets back from PPF. From what I've seen AWE doesn't drone with a aftermarket downpipe and has a great deep tuned sound while being louder. Being loud is cool but if it sounds like a tin can and drones that's just obnoxious. Also the AWE not having valves isn't a big deal exhaust valves are a gimmick IMHO on my Z06 and 392 I never closed the factory valves and those cars were "wake the dead" loud.

Loving my ARK! Also thanks to Josh.
Does the tone of the exhaust change after breaking it in? Or does it get louder at all?

Im a big fan of the HKS hi-power system. Fitment was absolutely flawless, quality is nearly perfect.

I have a catted DP, but with the valve open its civilized down low but has an awesome scream up top. With the valve closed its like driving a car that is basically stock. Its a great exhaust for a car you actually use for road trips and dont want to have drone or get worn out from a screaming exhaust. With the valve open there is some drone in 7th-8th at 60-70, closing the valve makes it disappear completely. I wouldnt want to live with an exhaust that has that kind of drone on the highway without the valve.

I think most of the exhaust systems for the A90 sound like complete shit unless you just want a raspy screaming car. The HKS is well mannered and has a deep tone that isnt annoying.

I feel it’s gets just a tad deeper. Sounds more…. Refined. Normal mode is just a little louder than stock with a deeper tone. If you’re listen to music with the windows up you, you would barely hear it. In sport mode it sounds great and loud enough not to be obnoxious. To be honest it burbles a little more than what I would like (in sport mode) but it seems like most exhaust do it as well. I’m still happy with my purchase over the HKS.
