Hi,

in which control unit is the EDC integrated in the Supra? i would like to code it out instead of using the KW Kit. or is it better to delete the FA and disconnect the EDC control unit ? Where is the EDC control unit?

Thanks

As far as I know, you cannot access the EDC in bimmercode or other coding mechanisms. I'm pretty sure everyone is using the delete kit to avoid the CEL.
I got errors using the KW kit unfortunately. I read that there are problems with that Deletion Kit? I get error message sporadically, not immediately at startup but after some time.

Today I have coded out EDC and TPMS, and Im really happy with that. One thing is left to disconnect the EDC module to get rid of annoying warning. It doesn’t affects anything, now I can turn off traction and it will not turn on automatically, but I want to have a clear dashboard.

So, does anyone knows where is EDC module in the supra? i want to disconnect it

yep, I have done it remotely with the help of Zed Coding you need an Enet cable, a Windows laptop, and an installed team viewer. It took about 10 mins and I paid 90Eur for both, TPMS and EDC removal.
