Considering buying a Supra

Can't believe how little the millage is on this!

Good price and also will have the overrun pops and bangs that was removed from 2020 onwards. Go for that's your preferred colour choice. Age doesn't really matter with a 5-10 year warranty.

I was surprised the mileage was so low for a 2 year old car. I've emailed them to confirm it's not a typo and they've missed a zero off the end or something.

I didn't know the pre 2020 cars had pops and bangs. Did they change anything else?

Yeah likely a Toyota factory car used for demonstrations or press drives, or perhaps the early depositor track day.

But I've been told by my dealer there isn't really a strict running in process and as long as it is warmed up you're good to go, and with 10 year warranty you've got little to lose!

Well said. My Supra was a factory/regional rep's machine. He used it for much less than a year with lower miles than this black one. I think this black one is worth a serious look.

a few models i know that got affected at the time was the current M340i, BMW Z4 M40i, and My old F40 M135i 2L B48

I still get pops on startup and when driving with a modified backbox. But when I rev the engine it just burbles now rather than the louder pop and bang the original one’s have.

I think it may just be on the idle engine revving but I’m not 100% sure. I think some guys in the USA compared them.
For the UK at the moment they haven’t made any other changes since launch.
apart from the Blue limited edition ones that come with Supra branded break calliper’s. I couldn’t/ haven’t seen anything else yet:

For us spec cars, all 2020 had the super aggressive pops and bangs stock, here is a video of mine, basically stock, resonator deleted but it made literally no difference and the pops and bangs are mostly from the tuning anyway


for 2021+ cars, some got 75% of the pops that 2020 cars did, others had basically 0, I don't know why some had more than others, it makes no sense to me as the exhaust systems are identical, ( side note 2021+ cars have a different downpipe/cat than 2020) but ya, we compared my buddies A91 edition, and it sounded almost like my car did stock, then my buddies other 2021, and it has 0 pops and bangs, just some burbles every once in a while. it is very weird. but 2020 does sound the best

Haha lol its the same as the Premium the rest of the world gets but different name for whatever reasons.?

We used to get a standard non pro over here but they binned that spec probably due to low sales. Have never seen one on the used market.

Mine is on order from Motorline Gatwick. I was there this morning and this car wasn't on the forecourt.

They were good to deal with and very knowledgeable about the car, as they've actually daily driven it. Always have 2 or 3 rotating Supras out front, so they seem to do good trade in them.

I had an email from a guy name Rui this morning saying the car was no longer available.

They did say they had a metallic blue one, but that had 22k miles on the clock. I'm after one with low mileage.

Nocturnal is the best color (aside from downshift) and it's tunable. Do it.

Exhaust may be the same, but you're also dealing with slightly lower compression on the 21 and the 6 port vs 2 port. DP + tune can take care of any missing pops and bangs though.
