Cusco front brace installed, replaced OEM 21 braces on a 20... Thoughts.

Looks great with the yellow! I actually just received this part for my '21 yesterday. There were so many differing opinions on if this thing made a difference on a '21 I decided to give it a go myself and picked it up. Your thread has at least given me hope it wasn't a complete waste of money, given you went from the '21 stock bars to the Cusco brace. Now, I'm not trying to hijack your thread, but I also bought the Cusco under-body brace. I can't find too much feedback about this part, but what I have has all been positive. If any visitors to this thread have feedback on that, I'd love to hear it.

I almost bought one, but when I did my exhaust, it looks like the OEM brace is pretty damn similar, So I didn't think it was worth it yet. My next brace mod will be the one that replaces the factory harness or roll bar!

This brace is at the top of my list but does anyone know if it will clear an AMS intake box?

if the ams box clears the 2021 braces, it should clear the cusco, but don't take my word on that. just guessing.

these low lifes stealing cats has made my business so much harder... people think it is illegal now or that I am doing something sketch, even though I'm not lol. oh but shameless plug, if anyone wants to sell an oem dp lmk. $1300+ for 2020, and $1200+ for 2021. but back to regularly scheduded programing, ya powdercoat is the way to go for the calipers.

Mind sharing why the 2020 downpipe would be more expensive than the 2021?

Completely different downpipes, with different levels of material in them.

Installed the front Cusco brace on my '21 yesterday and took the car for a short drive afterwards. Definitely an upgrade to the stock bars. Car felt sharper on turn-in and just generally tighter up front, especially over small, undulating bumps. Rear brace going on the same time as the exhaust.

no visual difference inside but def a difference in material and level of each material

I’m looking to upgrade my DP and would definitely feel much better about if if I could sell my 21’ for $1200. Where are you located?

can I check with the 2021 owners. The OEM front strut bars - are both screws threaded on the car from the engine bay? is there a need to put a bolt from the wheel well , like the cusco front brace ?

They are threaded... I purchased one from Cesar Bonilla on the FB groups and he ships his w/ hardware for the '20 but the '21 uses the existing hardware.... No going into the wheel wells for the '21.

2020 models are not threaded.
