Depends on the area and how bad of a mood a cop is in. Both the Supra (catless) and my motorcycle pop on decel, my bike even shoots flames on decel and I haven't had an issue yet.

I’m younger looking and have face tattoos along with fully straight pipe exhaust and an aggressive ecutek tube. All I’ve gotten so far has been a fist bump and thumbs from the local police . I got tailed once after a super loud burble in the dinning area in town . But I just drove the speed limit and down shifted an extra gear so they could see it was just the exhaust and I wasn’t speeding . Probably a region thing or a particular cop having a bad day . This is why everyone should have a dash cam ! if you weren’t speeding or driving reckless with proof , and he wrote you that ticket I’d file a complaint at the department .

There’s a bunch of brands and price ranges out there check out a couple different ones and see what suits you best . Probably can’t file a complaint but 100% you can fight the ticket . It’s going to be your word vs his so definitely get a lawyer . They will drop the ticket to unsafe operation which is a 0 point ticket and just a fine . But reckless driving ticket carries a lot of points and is a big hit on your insurance as well

I contacted a lawyer and basically this is all I heard:
If a cop makes a BS ticket of something you were not doing. You’re fucked either way. I could simply get a lawyer and get it reduced and pay $800 or I can fight it in court for over $1500.
even if I fully win, I am out $1500 in a court case.
fuck the police. They are literally morons in a false place of power

Just another asshole cop. I'd start recording any and all interactions with the police. They are corrupt as f*ck no matter where you go. F*ck LA county just got caught with their Banditos gang. The da is investigating.

I must lead a charmed life. I got a little sideways (just a little) in a corner, got pulled over, had a respectful discussion with the LEO, and left with a verbal warning. Mind you, this was in Virginia which is quite strict with traffic laws.

And while I understand there are genuine examples of overreach and abuse, It would be a horrible world without traffic laws and enforcement. I know this owning a home in Peru and living there part time.

just made this post to show people to not attract unwanted attention.

Yep, I realized that in your post and wasn’t taking a dig at you. I myself had a less than fun encounter with a State Trooper who asked to search my vehicle after a stop for an expired inspection sticker. I declined his offer and he rewarded me with the ticket. Of course, the difference in my example is that I was un ambiguously guilty (oversight).
