Hey everyone, I thought we could start a knowledge base for users to share their experience and insight with the ProECU software application.

I’m new to the software but it seems like a powerful tool to learn more about how your Supra is performing.

This isn’t a ROM tuning share thread. I will leave that to the Pro Tuners to discuss with their individual customers.

I will start by sharing a data log from yesterday. It’s cool to see how all the parameters react during a run.

are you just opening up your logs on the ProECU software? I've opened up my logs from my phone and it's usually just an excel file.

I send the log files from the Ecu TeK ECU Connect app to myself via email. Then I open up the .csv file with ProECU on my laptop.

Here is another cool feature with the ECU connect phone app. You can measure oil down to the millimeter. Based on this reading I’m down 7% with 1500 miles logged since my last oil change.

I didn’t take a screen shot when I did my last oil change so I’m not sure if it was 100% then. I will be sure to screen shot my next oil change at 3,000 miles to verify.

This is a great tool for those with 2021’s that are worried about excessive oil consumption. Its much easier to track oil this way versus the eDipstick.

Mine isn’t showing percentage. The top of the gauge is 100mm, so at 93mm I’m down 7mm. If I treat that as percentage it’s down 7 percent.

The question is how is yours showing 361mm?? Are you way overfilled or did you take the reading on a hill?

I noticed that my gauge will read at 110 millimeters if I’m on an incline with the nose up. And the same on a decline nose down it will read 80mm.

No I always use 6.5 quarts. Oil measures correct. Even if I set min and max values it still shows 361. I’m away from car not but I’ll check what unit it had. I added mm myself.

Nvm fixed it. I had wrong parameter ?‍♂ I’m at 90% since last oil change 4500 miles ago. I change it every 5000. How bad is that ? When I measure through idrive it’s right at max line.

If we take into consideration that the pan is holding approx. 6 quarts and the other .5 is circulating in the engine. That would mean your 90% equals .6 of a quart burned.

That is perfectly fine for 4500 miles, your good. I hope mine only burns that much with the same mileage.

Be sure to measure with ECU connect after your next oil change. I’m curious if it will show 100mm when full.

Appreciate you posting this. I've been monitoring just to be on the safe side. Currently at 3800 miles and reading 86mm.

Sorry for the dumb question. But is this an app for your phone to go along with the ECUTek? Not actual flash tuning, but more like soft tuning?

Yes, correct. It can monitor a long list of parameters on the car like the OBDlink module. Plus you can also have Custom Inputs to change on the fly while your driving.
