Just throwing my salt on the pile...

I'm running a 1FS catless and an X-mod.

The 1FS downpipe had 2 good welds on the entire part. They were all good looking welds, just tremendous lack of fusion. I had to redo all of the rest of them. It's fine now. $350 and you get what you pay for.

The X-mod does alright. Sounds decent enough. Could be a little higher pitched but that's just preference. I picked that one because it uses so many v-bands and I planned to remove any section that I didn't like and refab it.

I get a LOT of compliments on how it sounds, but pretty much anyone that wants a Supra is going to think it sounds good. My biggest issue was the absolutely insane drone from 1900-2100rpm (Magnaflow no drone technology). I removed the HH resonator from the valved side and capped the hole, then made a different one for the open side.

The new HH res worked well enough that the exhaust is quieter than the tires while cruising and sport mode off. Not having a HH Res or a straight through on the valved side made it sound a little better and a good bit louder, but man the sound comes alive from 4k-5k. The valve does rattle now on cold start though.

Overall, I wouldn't go for Magnaflow unless you're going to try and have a fabricator solve the drone issue. I also wouldn't go for a 1FS DP unless you want to have a fabricator weld all of it up properly.

Just get something valved if you're concerned about noise levels then pick based on looks/sound/fitment. I have the valvetronic titanium exhaust with an AA catted dp. Valves open its very loud since there are no resonators or mufflers. Valves closed its probably 20% louder than a stock dp/exhaust with the valves open. Minimal drone too with valves open or closed. Fitment could be better.
