If the ignition took place inside the turbine, it could damage the bearing and loosen the bolts at the manifold/flange. That’s from my experience with other turbo cars with anti-lag tune.

Definitely this. And possibly exhaust valve guides? Anyone with B58 specific mechanical knowledge know for sure?
