That was just my opinion. It looked like Merc was going to have an orgasm when the Red Bull car was hoisted up. Then I read on some stupid F1 publication that Mercedes should be able to find some kind of “regulation” issue. Could just be the tabloids pumping it up. Maybe they all get along really well. I haven’t watched DTS since last season.
You need to just be viewing F1 as a team sport; drivers get the stardom and most of the credit, but it's a team game first and foremost - which is why drivers constantly thank the team after races, they know who butters their bread.
The point of the cost cap was to make the sport more even. You are right that it's normal for teams to go season after season with the championship. You are also correct that there was/is corruption in the FIA.
The thing is, the FIA go over each car with a fine tooth comb, so they would already be aware of anything that was against the rules. The FIA are constantly checking the vehicles to make sure they are within spec.
Yup! And ditch hybrid, and bring back refueling. Refueling added more strategy and stops were longer, around 6 seconds, and the V8 and V10 just sounded incredible. With synthetic fuels, this should be possible. The cars are too big and too heavy. The early 2000's is when they were perfect.
Every single team was "having an orgasm" when the RB, Merc and Ferrari was lifted in the air. Facts that RB was sitting there taking pictures of the Ferrari and Merc also to go over with a fine-tooth comb. Doesn't mean anything. its not just the floor that would make them fast all of a sudden. They could design the exact same floor as RB but without everything else its not going to have the same speed. RB just admitted they took some designs from Williams and copied that for their Monaco package. So they all do it. Just like they did to Mec few years ago, RB before that Brawn double diffusor. All F1 teams merge to pretty much the same concept after 2-3 years, whomever is the fastest the other teams will look to for "inspiration."
Yup. And how much weight have cars gained over the last couple decades? Quite a bit. A 1990 BMW M3 was under 2700 lbs. A new 2023 almost 4000 lbs.
Unless you're Force India/ Aston Martin and just blatantly copy and make a pink Mercedes and green Red Bull ?
I assumed as much. And love extremes/sarcasm to drive thought. Question is, why is Red Bull so far ahead of the rest? Everyone can see the car, FIA goes over them with a fine tooth comb, Merc still has Hamilton, Aston Martin is pouring money into sources outside of F1. So what gives?
Is it me or does Sky, DTS, F1 “official” publication, and others, predominately favor the Brits, or other personal favs? I sense a bias with the majority of commentators & publications. I’d love to root for the American driver and team. But they suck.

it's not redbull in my opinion. it's max. recent rise of hatred of him rose because how he treats perez, his team mate. for example, last year, perez gave up his position to max to help max. but when max already had won the championship and perez needed points to secure 2nd place, max did not yield. I always did not like how he drove anyway so that incident did not surprised me.Hence the hate for Red Bull I suppose? Because they are winning, better & too far ahead. Screw you Red Bull!
