We could be talking about the MY2020 vs MY2021-2023, which have undergone significant hardware & software changes... That's what I'd consider Gen1 & Gen2 variants..
That would be wrong and using that nomenclature could cause you and others a TON of problems.

I know it's wrong. I've never personally used it, as it was in reference to how others might attempt to describe the two IF they were unaware of what Gens 1 & 2 actually are.

That's what the career Parts & Tech Specialist in me hears when somebody on the other end is trying to ask for something and I have to extrapolate the real meaning behind their improper term/word usage. It's what I deal with every damn day, so forgive me for not being clear enough on how I meant what I wrote, as I was coming at the question from an entirely different angle.

I hear all that. We've all had that conversation, on this forum, many times LOL. I.E. I usually tell the story of the dude that wasted four hours of my time while I helped him find a new set of *coils* for his car... but he actually meant *coilovers*. Or the guy that needed a shop to fix the *rim* of one of his wheels.. but turned out the entire *wheel* was damaged in a curb smack, so he got mad at me for wasting HIS time when all the shops I listed turned him away because that can't be fixed (because he actually meant wheel, not rim).
😂
It bugs me how the current generation of "kids" use whatever in hell words they want then expect everyone to know what they mean. LOL

You're welcome, how cool to live in Singapore, I'd love to visit one day.

Yes I saw your question there, it would appear that for the time being, yes it has been discontinued, we seem to generally concur as we've all done our research, having also just checked the website now, still the same, only 2.0 pro AT and 3.0 pro AT are available now.

It was a very short run indeed, just about 1 year, I had the 3rd one in the UK, build date August '22.

I checked on AutoTrader UK, and there's literally 1 or maybe 2 Manual Supras available with little more than delivery mileage, and they seem to be the classic scenario of someone having bought it as an investment and 'marked it up', US style.
It's anything but cool (pun intended) with year round temperatures of 25 to 33 degrees, only dropping to a cooler 22 to 29 towards the end of the year. :D

Do drop over if you're around the south east asian region. Will be happy to take you out for a beer!

I wonder if the take up rates are not high in the UK as there have been reports that say almost 50% of the Supras sold recently are manuals.

There are only 2 brought in officially by the main dealership and only a black one is left.

I asked a grey importer whom I got my Civic Type R from and she contacted several dealers in the UK and none could supply a new one.
