Good 1/4 times For a mhd stage 2 ots

went to the drag strip last night and ran a fastest time of 12.01 and my slowest was a 12.7. I’m just curious if that’s good or not. Car is fbo on mhd ots stage 2 tune

I assume at least downpipe, or you shouldn't be running, whatever "stage 2". Tire?

60' is pretty rough. Trap is real bad.


00. Tires to 25psi
0. Sport Mode
1. Tap Traction Control - (turn off traction)
2. Hold Traction Control - (turn off VSC)
3. Switch to manual mode
4. Burnout in First gear in water box
5. Approach staging lights
6. Shift to 2nd
7. Attempt to push the brake pedal through the floor with your LEFT foot
8. While holding the brake pedal down, bring RPWs up to ~2k RPMs quickly (you'll feel the car "squat"), this is the torque converter loading. Boost will climb.
9. On Green - Mash gas & release brake
10. Shift when you see the indicator reach 55-5600 RPMs
10a. Don't shift out of 5th, ride it through.

For comparison, I ran a best of 11.98 with a 1.74 60' stock. I ran low 20s for tire pressure (don't remember exact), turned all the nannies off, used auto mode with engine/trans in sport+ and shocks in normal. Launched just as described at around 2000-2200 but in auto mode. I did try using the paddles and starting in second one run but the car bogged badly and I ended up with a 12.3 or so and 60' was around 2.0 if I remember correctly.

Traction was an issue last night I slipped every time out the hole I tired to launch with launch control and it just slips instantly and I tired a second great pull once and I think it was an 11.8. I have a video if y’all wanna see lol

Yeah, something's off, but launch control is generally bad, your 60' is bad, your trap speed is bad... Do you have logs from the pulls?
