Do they need physical access to the car or can they do stuff remotely and ship?
From their website:

Have at Least One Working Key? → Same-Day OEM Key Cloning Special – Only $420
We clone and program an OEM Toyota proximity key using your existing key

Walk in or schedule – same-day service guaranteed

Mail-in option also available -$500 (send us your key and fob and we will return it with a fully functional OEM original key and fob. We cover return shipping in the 48)

All Keys Lost / Zero Keys Situation → $1,000 (2-3 weeks) Can be more.
Full “all keys lost” programming from scratch
Takes 2-3 weeks as we perform the secure Toyota server registration process. Must have USA drivers license with matching name on registration, title, or bill of sale

You can get the best deal if you go to the shop (NY) and wait while they make your key, but I'm a ways away so I did it through the mail (UPS, with insurance).

Ended up calling around locally and one of the locksmiths hit up another locksmith buddy who finally bought the tool needed for our cars. He said he just got it two weeks ago. I saw some people in Vegas and Miami can do it so seems like it’s starting to become a little more widespread.

Just a heads up for anyone buying these:

The company seems mostly open about what they are doing, but I feel someone needs to put some emphasis on the fact that these are *cloned keys* and not oem fresh replacements so you still have whatever lost key still paired to your car and technically still only one valid key after this is performed from the cars point of view because of whatever key was used to duplicate it.

I'd be aware of any potential issues with the car freaking out if you have both the original and cloned key in close proximity of one another inside the car at the same time. This is not a substitute for a second properly coded key, but its better than having zero keys.

Still a useful thing to have though as a backup key on the off chance you happen to lose your two main keys, prevents a tow in and BDC replacement.

That being said, I may grab one and toss it in a faraday cage on the off chance two keys go missing.
