Had my first oil change today at the BMW dealer

Its not the worst thing to get break in oil out and check filter for material after break in mileage is hit. Ill be doing the same on mine at ~1200 miles

Agreed. It certainly doesn't hurt.

I’m now at 1,400 miles... just to be on the safe side I opted for an oil change. All looked great. I plan to do so every 5,000 miles.

My ‘go to’ guy is a mechanic at our local BMW dealer and helped me out.

Funny to see a Toyota surround by its next of kin.

My filter had same stuff in it with like 1600 miles on the oil.

I'm heading in to bmw again for my 3rd oil change this week... now at 9,200 miles.

I also plan to have them change the brake fluid
(now 3 years old).
