Has anyone found a Cusco or similar front bar alone created too much understeer?

So I like to keep mods to a minimum so usually modify for scca street class so front bar, shocks on previous corvettes, max width 200tw tires, alignment, brakes. A bigger front bar definitely decreased the oversteer obviously by creating understeer but has anyone else felt it was too much. My first event is still a couple weeks out but on the street the car now has some understeer and it used to have none. A little push in rwd is suppose to be faster on an Ax course since you can put down more power earlier with less oversteer but has it worked out for others. It feels a little pushier than I would like on the street.

That’s exactly what a stiffer front setting/bar will do if the change isn’t balanced at the rear.

You can either change to a softer setting up front, install a rear bar, or try increasing front tire pressure and decreasing rear tire pressure.

I ran a front aFe sway by itself for a while and did not have excessive understeer. These cars really need more front negative camber via adjustable LCA's or camber plates, but that may not be an option for your class. This and good tires and alignment. How do your front tires look? Are you rolling over the edges?

I’m going to give this setup a go on The 27th at my first Ax event in the car and go from there. The super sports I run 37-38 hot on the street aggressively and I wear right on the edge marks. I’ll be swapping to my other wheel set with rt660 265/295-35 for Ax. The setup looks to be a bit pushy but probably still faster than stock front bar.

So after my first Ax, I think the sway bar is probably faster than stock. My local Ax is tight and slow so it hurts a bit more than a faster Ax, but I benefit at being able to put the power down sooner and harder. The car was too tail happy stock. Made getting on the power early more difficult. I think that the adjustable sway bar maybe in the middle setting might be the best option but I don’t think triple adjustable is allowed in street. All in all I like getting on the power early and hooking up. I’ve lost more time with oversteer in the past than with understeer.
