FYI,AA has thrown CEL. Too I’m in the belief that no catted dp is safe from CEL.

Now I have to decide if I want to sell it or get a jb4 since my car can’t be flash tuned

Yeah, so far I've only heard of one person who had a CEL pop up with the AA catted DP. Not sure what caused that.

I just ordered an AA catted DP. It seems to be the one with the least amount of CEL on the "NO CEL guarantee" pile of DPs. Hopefully they'll be able to resolve the issue if pops up.

I don't want to use the JB4 as a "bandaid" for the CEL though.

It is a GESI 85000 cat. I believe currently it’s the same as the ETS and Powerneedy Cat, but AMS and AA use the Gesi 85200.

i believe most of the catted "no CEL" DP's use a 300 Cell substrate from GESI. i went with catted not because of no CEL, but mostly because of smell and sound. There is almost no perceivable HP gains from catless to 200 high flow cell (maybe 1-2 hp if any). I think the original ceramic catalyst is 500 or 600 cell or something like that. so when your dropping from 600 to lets say 300, you may get a CEL down the line, no matter what. the new GESI 400 cell may keep it off as it has a more concentrated wash of precious metals, but then now your getting too close to the orignal Cell count/ restriction, plus running the 400 cell will prob add another 200-300$ to your original GESI catted DP (like AA).

interested to see what the DS1 owners say because i'm up in the air between AA and the CG. I say AA because I've had their stuff before and it's never let me down though the AMS also looks like a nice one as well.
