@Jazyjason The Tomei exhausts, both single and dual, are extremely loud to the point of being unlivable from every owner I’ve spoken to. If going high flow catted, my recommendation would be the AWE Touring resonated. I’m personally between that and the HKS Super Turbo.

I was unaware the Tomei didn't have valves or was unlivable. I also researched and it seems like it also has some fitting issues? On one review it took the guy 4 tries to get the fitment right. I definitely can't have a non valved exhaust. The cops around where I live will light me up so fast lol.

It doesn't add up to almost twice as much. You basically payed $164k for a $90k car.

SF sales tax is 8.625%. That is only $7,762 on $90,000.

Either way, you are out of that crap deal.

What did you pay for the Supra?
I paid 53 for the Supra with 6000 miles on it. I can't math right now it's Friday and the coffee hasn't kicked in yet. When I have some free time after work I'll dig into my old finance contract on the C8 to get the details.

Another night drive. Burned up some gas, did another cruise through SF & the Bay and she's parked for the night. How do people not already have 100k miles on their cars? I can't stop driving it lol. I really hope with good maintenance and upkeep this car lasts forever.

This one photo right here just proved to myself I made the right choice. You are my HERO! Only 194,300 miles to go till I catch up. I got a lot of night drives to do : )
Haha not my photo. I only have 11k miles on mine. Was off reddit Supra sub. But yes these are tanks.

Regardless it's still damn impressive and gives me a lot of peace of mind. I'm so OCD when it comes to my cars as it is lol.

Well a bid of sad news. I figured out why the service contract was wonky. Fremont Chevrolet scammed me out of my down payment and instead of buying back the first lemon C8 and cutting me a check then applying the full down, they traded it in against the other C8 and stiffed me out of 25k. They went against GM's buyback protocol. When they lied and said they were eating 9k in options, they instead just took it out of my down payment and made money on both cars. When GM called me today to go over the second C8's buyback figures we started noticing huge discrepancies on the finance contract when they offered me money that was significantly lower compared to the first buyback.

I've already consulted a lemon law/fraud attorney. Sigh... It's been a day. I'm just so done at this point. It's been going on since October with the C8 fiasco.

Gosh that sucks. I've heard of, and had dealers stiff me, or try to, but that's probably the worst I've heard.

Yeah, I left a strong voicemail with my repurchase coordinator and they basically said “our bad we screwed up the numbers” call you on Monday…. So yeah they gotta fix this.

LOL… translation; oh shit, he caught us!
No shit. Still consulting with a lawyer, this has been going on for 4 months and I'll be damned if someone scams me let alone a scumbag dealership. Be careful out there guys, I wouldn't wish this car stress on anyone.

At least I have a wonderful Supra to drive and enjoy though. Very thankful on that end.

Sorry to hear about that shitty experience and welcome to the Supra club! There might be less restrictive emission standards around the corner. Something to keep in mind or if able to keep flexibility in your build. That’s great that your car is unlocked and you have a good tuner already. If you‘re not using a Toyota dealer for service, that’s a mega plus. Also glad to hear you’re going to track her once you get everything all tightened up. It doesn’t take a lot of mods to really enjoy the crap outta these cars ???
