The local cops don't care for the most part, but the state police will pull you over for the smell and write you a nasty ticket.

Jesus that's lame. My car is completely stock under the hood. All of this is why.

I've had this downpipe installed on the car since October 2022 and have had no issues running it. I'm not using the O2 sensor defouler/spacer since I'm tuned. FYI it will throw a CEL without it.

I have it paired with the HKS Super Turbo Muffler. The sound profile is slightly deeper than when I ran the AMS catted downpipe with the exhaust.

AA is 400 cell thjs is 150, this will smell way way more, plus the Cel. On the plus side (for some) it’ll be a bit louder

I havent installed it yet. @Kase Did.

Regarding CEL couple sites said there was none when O2 adapter was used, but honestly not sure cause not many have installed it yet. HKS doesn't officially sell it in North America.

Tryna revive this thread to see if the downpipes is worth the hassle of ordering from Japan and is it worth it, for the price and shipping. Will it fit the stock exhaust and CEL updates?

I bought it because it was HKS lol. That alone was worth it for me. Yes it's a stupid reason to buy. Overall quality is good I think. Welds were good. Not sure about it fitting stock exhaust I put it on my already installed HKS exhaust. But people have installed the hks exhaust onto stock downpipe so I assume it fits.

CEL came on twice but situations was when I switched to sport and immediately floored it. Error was basically l saying o2 sensor is over heating. I went 1500km without it going on after clearing it. I dont drive that much so if it turns on once every few months I'm fine with clearing it and continuing on with my day.

I daily my car, so I looking to see if its worth it. I am surprised that they said its not suitable for 2020 yet its giving you good results, and by the looks of it might be the same for a 2021+. I do wonder tho if its better than a AA or AMS catted (if we did not worry about the CEL) for sound.
