Official page for the HKS Metal Catalyzer is up:
https://www.hks-power.co.jp/en/product_db/exhaust/db/31541
  • The HKS catalyzer has 150 cells compared to the stock catalyzer‘s 600 cells, resulting in a 40% lower exhaust pressure.
  • Gain an approx. 13PS advantage by just replacing catalyzer. (In-house test)
  • The outlet is made by lost wax casting in order to produce ideal layout.
  • The product satisfies the new emission regulations by selected a cell with an optimized ratio of catalytic precious metals.
  • WLTC emission tests are thoroughly conducted in-house, and a third-party test certificate is obtained.

The catless you sold me was just 24'' piece of led pipe stuff with pinecones....
I'd rather have this than endlessly wringing my hands about defoulers and cats maybe or maybe not working.

I've ordered from them. They're fine.

Wonder why it won't work on 2020 models.
The video states that it hasn’t been approved for emissions on the 2020 yet, but to stay tuned. So… it will, they just haven’t gotten the green light to sell it for the 2020 yet.

If you're going to buy a downpipe that throws a CEL, why not just get one without a catalytic converter?

my catted DP still doesn't kill the smell, but the above I SO agree with.
My AMS GESI kills the bad smell, you can smell fuel but it's better. FYI I run 51% ethanol which smells better than pump.

VSRF or some cheap skate name like that. 😂
And that's why the smell is still there. 😂

Most catted downpipes, even the reasonably priced ones, will reduce the smell so much that it's barely noticeable and no longer a nuisance.
