And that's why the smell is still there.

Most catted downpipes, even the reasonably priced ones, will reduce the smell so much that it's barely noticeable and no longer a nuisance.

I suppose it could be a nuisance to some. I grew up around muscle cars. This is nothing.

That is tempting! Do you have a tune? Wondering if it throws a CEL. Your sidebar says 2020, so at least you're tunable in case you needed to get rid of it. The HKS instruction manual shows an O2 sensor adapter, wonder if that's a defouler/extender that actually works (so far it seems every defouler is garbage and fails after some time, except for the one built into the Armytrix downpipe).

In regards to the suggestions for a 400 cell GESI cat downpipe like AA or AMS, there's just something (being a brand whore) about having an HKS downpipe, if possible, for what I want on my car.

I'm a brand whore on this car lol. I'm getting it cause everything else is hks. Accept the strut bars way over priced, but I may cave eventually.

I hope I don't need to tune. I have no use for all the power where I live. Roads are shit and no track.

Shipping and duties are so high for Canada, don't want to buy and not have it fit. Anyone install this on their 2020. Any reasons why it wouldn't fit other than just not meeting emissions standards?

Seems like this can really be a viable option. Until now only the GESI cat Active Autowerke and AMS downpipes, or the Armytrix catless downpipe with cat simulator have not thrown a CEL on 2021+ Supras.

The 150 cell catted HKS downpipe will flow a little bit better than the 400 cell AA/AMS downpipes, and maybe sound louder and throatier too. Close to catless performance minus the rasp, smell, and excess emissions. And hopefully with HKS' quality, we can hope that the O2 sensor defouler adapter won't fail.

Worse in some cases.

The local cops don't care for the most part, but the state police will pull you over for the smell and write you a nasty ticket.
