Gonna double down on "DON'T GO TO COLLISION MASTERS" -- found out in the past couple days that they straight up lied about working with Toyota of Kirkland for the chassis stabilization code that I had (both ToK and Toyota of Seattle found no record of my car being at ToK when the body shop said the dealership had it), and turns out the code was one of 2 reasons: not programming the new parts to the car or a pinched wire when installing the headlight.

Update for everyone, just got the call from insurance that they’re totaling it. It was interesting, the guy said that the reason isn’t just because of the amount of damage, but because of the size of the claim itself. He said the “at least” 6 months of rental car, diminished value claim, etc., they are just going to total it. Depressing seeing mine binned but the landscaping Supra made it out alive (just kidding).
How long until I make one of those “Help me decide, 718, M4, or Supra?” threads?

Damn, sucks that they're totaling it, but I'm not surprised given the massive waits most body shops have.

And my vote for the next car will be Supra. I got a ride in an M4 and it felt too disconnected, and while a 718 is no doubt a great driver's car, I prefer the Supra's road presence and ability to build in multiple different ways.

Well hello everyone! I thought I'd share my pics with you guys, mine isn't as bad as what you guys dealing with!! But it's my baby, was picking up my son from school today, and someone waiting behind me in line, decided to rear end me.

Yikes! At least it’s drivable and cosmetic. Start looking for shops.. it’s going to be a while unfortunately.

My car was not totaled - $25k estimated in repairs so far and probably another 2 months wait after 1 month of it sitting at the shop. Did you go through your own insurance or their insurance?

Damn. That really sucks. I’m sorry man. I say get another Supra with the payout. If not, I’d personally go for a 718 - that’s my next conquest car.

Damage is around $6300. Before I pick the car up, isn’t the hatch flush with the rear bumper? Should there be a slight overhang? I don’t think so but I want to confirm.

Mine was a hit and run in a parking lot while having lunch. Lady was caught backing into my front drivers side thanks to an awesome witness.
I think there may be a bent suspension part on the driver's side....

Damn mine was $1200 in repairs and it looks brand new. My diminished value claim is over 10k but to not have to pay my attorney he suggested I stay right at 10k and he can collect legal fees and I keep all the money. Or else it 1/3rd he takes from the settlement. So it made way more sense to stay under and make it known to the insurance company that we know it’s worth more but we will settle for 10k.
