He mentions it several times and says he found it poorly written but he did consult it.I love when people don't reference service manuals when working on a car then blame the car for confusing them.
yup this car isnt meant for you lol this is the most unreliable car ever made. keep getting non stop blinker fluid leaks. to change blinker fluid seals whole motor got to come outHe mentions it several times and says he found it poorly written but he did consult it.
But back to the question - is the door latch sensor a common or known issue with the A90? And is there anything else as cumbersome to replace as that on the car?
Personally, I can't think of anything else except maybe the rear hatch that would require so much disassembly, so I'm guessing he may be picking the worst possible scenario to make a point, rather than giving a fair shake to the serviceability of the A90 platform.
Are there other major faults that are common for the Supra that could leave you stranded? Saw someone post about how theirs has been sitting for months because a body control module part is unavailable so the dealer can't fix it.
I'm used to driving Toyotas and Hondas and they've never left me stranded. Hell, even a Dodge I owned was very reliable. I'd be hesitant to drop $60k on a Supra but have the BMW-ness of it leave me stranded and be not easy to fix.
Modern BMW's are pretty reliable. My supra has been by far the most reliable car I have ever tracked. It has 60+ track days, 40 of which with over 500whp. 2300 laps and 51 hours of track usage. No issues.I'm used to driving Toyotas and Hondas and they've never left me stranded. Hell, even a Dodge I owned was very reliable.
