Realistically how much power increase can I see from CAI, aftermarket catted downpipe, exhaust, and a tune get me? Don't see my self upgrading turbo anytime soon.

I would expect you to be around 450 whp and 500ish wtq based on what I’ve seen with others cars. A HUGE part will be the type of fuel you run. 93, 91 or e blend

MHD E50 tuned w/ FTP inlet and CTS chargepipe w/ a titan catless, put down 465whp/455tq on a mobile dyno. Was dyno'd in 6th gear so i guess that's why i'm reading low. I want to take it to another dyno buuuuut for now, i just tell people it's a 450hp Supra lol

That's pretty modest torque for e50.

450 sounds about right for your build. Likely closer to 500. Mobile dyno's aren't great, and as you said.. 6th gear pull.

The best measuring tool is Dragy.
Or if you want it to count, the timeslip.

Yeah, we all know you should chase ETs vs HP, but knowing HP doesn't hurt. We (B58 Crew at TX2K) did find the HP limit to the head gasket this weekend in Texas. The Adonis car pushed the head gasket and burnt the block at around 1060hp. Jeff was on a pull though. 3.5 60-130 before it gave out on the top end of the track.

Actually trap speed is more highly correlated with power output than ET. Dragy has been shown countless times to compare very favorably with dragstrip results.

Sure, but it doesn't count. You can't turn in a record pull or win a comp with a draggy slip. lol

Well, yes. This part is true. HP is how fast you can go, TQ is how fast you can get there blah blah blah, I know the other details, or maybe not. I know very little about race cars.

Not many guys on this forum are concerned with setting records but everyone wants to know how much power they're putting out. ET is a poor gauge of power production since it can vary by a second or more depending on traction. On the other hand trap speed is much less dependent on launch. I make all my runs on the same stretch of highway and never get a 60 ft. less the 2 seconds due to wheelspin. On the other hand my trap speeds vary by less than .5mph at a given DA. There are numerous calculators online that will compute whp using weight and trap speed and the Dragy gives a very accurate trap, record-setting notwithstanding.
