I was cleaning my car and trying to finish when a shower came. I had my door open and rain got on my door and seat. When I looked I saw that it was streaking so i got a rag to wipe it and more the color of the door started to come off. It’s hard to explain but it’s like the rain ate my interior door color and when I wiped it it ate the rest. So now the door is like a faded charcoal grey. You can see the streaks on the seat bolster area. Thoughts?

It'll look fine when it dries. Thought the same about mine, first time I was caught in the rain. It went away when I looked the next day after I wiped off the rain.

Wow check it out. Most of the door dried except for the part that doesn’t air out while it’s closed etc. here’s a pic showing the contrast

303 Aerospace protectant will likely fix the color. Good product for anything plastic or vinyl, besides.

I think it might be whatever interior/leather cleaner/protectant that was applied being washed off, I've had it happen to various cars of mine. That's probs why it's happening to more than one surface of your car.

Great idea. It actually works the best when applied before any scuffs too as it prevents things from catching the surface. It's a great product. I use it diluted 50:50 with distilled water.
