Maybe this thread should be re named " I bought a Sportscar but need an SUV interior" to carry all my shit around.
When I drive the Supra I have with me a mobile phone, that's it. Cockpit has plenty of room for my needs. If I need fluids I stop for a coffee/water/beer. I see no need to eat in a car, ever. My drink holders are blanked off. It's a Sports car or "Sport" car and Carrol Shelby pointed out years ago. It's not designed to be convenient or even remotely practical. It's got enough space in the back for 2 small rucksacks for overnight stays. What more do you need?
I used to do weekends away in a Austin Healey Mk3 Sprite. Look them up. The Supra is spacious luxury in every way.

See, that's the beauty of us all being individuals. You do things your way, others do things their way. I pack light as well (typically phone, wallet, keys). But I also don't see the harm in someone trying a squeeze a little more storage space out of the Supra?ā€ā™‚

I drop things between my seats and the center console ALL the time [usually something I need while driving and can't reach without stopping & getting out of the car] so these things have prevented a lot of road rage
:drive:

- PERFECT fitment, and fills the ENTIRE GAP, enough to catch dropped crumbs if you ride with your kid in the passenger seat.
- It feels like it's made with the same plastic material as Crocs, so very durable.
- The "hook" that goes around the seatbelt buckle keeps it from sliding out of place.

I was a little worried about something designed to be "universal" and then ending up too thin or too wide. Other options I looked at appeared to be made from really flimsy material - which looked cheap.

You can choose between black, red, or tan. I kinda wish I got the red ones because at night, it can be hard to see what you're reaching for.

Price is $17.99 and currently 10% off on Amazon. Comes with 2 pieces for the driver & passenger side.

I ended up picking up a set of these the other day too. I also got more storage for the hatch, and the cabin. All ideas from this thread.

This thread has been super insightful.

I actually have a magnet mounted just in front of my hazard warning button on the dash where I stick my phone so I can keep it plugged in and charging easier as well as much easier to grab if I need it. Those look fairly handy though although I don't typically carry a ton of stuff.

I did get the little extra compartment that seats into the large rectangular pocket that has two compartments for holding items myself and I really like it. Keeps the area in front of the shifter completely open if someone wants to wireless charge their device and both cup holders free

For my other cars I use the cupholder-sized kleenex boxes and put it in the door cupholder, but since the Supra only has 2 cupholders and the 1st one gets in the way of my shifting, putting this tissue holder on the passenger visor has been very useful, and you can refill it with tissues from a normal kleenex box.

Not trying to be funny...but why, on earth, do you need a tissue holder??

Are there any people developing anything that could increase the storage capability of the interior space? I know the supra doesn’t have the most interior storage space for things like glasses cases, spare chargers, and other knick knacks, but I feel like there are a few places that could be useful for some sort of aftermarket storage integration (such as that little square tray behind the cup holders, maybe some sort of storage tray that slips into the mold of the smaller tray to increase its size?)

My only comparison would be how there are a ton of storage products designed for jeep wranglers like overhead storage, compartments that hang off the center console, and things like that. I couldn’t find anything similar to that for the supra, but surely someone’s attempting it right?

Im tempted to buy a 3d printer and (horribly) attempt some designs myself lol
I think I need to lose about 50 pounds and that would help. šŸ˜‚
