Is supra your daily (or only) car?

I daily mine, my only car. Think it also helped I worked from home during the pandemic and now only go into the office 3 times a week, 32 miles each day. I bought it back on 11/2020 and only reaching 9,500 miles. Helps that it does 30 on the highway because Cali traffic sucks at times lol.

I was surprised to get up to 33 MPG on mine.

Mine played daily duty temporarily for about 6 months. Currently, my daily is an M550i. The Supra is reserved for my days off.

The Supra is a 3rd “fun” car for my wife and me. I part time daily a ‘21 Camaro ZL1, and the family hauler is a Volvo XC90 with a turbo and supercharged 2.0.

I say part time daily because I work from home 1-2 times per week, and drive the Supra to work or the gym once a week or so to mix it up with the ZL1.

The Supra is dual purpose. Our fun car and occasional track car (it replaced two of my toys). Also have my Tundra TRDPro for Home Depot runs, towing and off-road fun. Just took it out this past weekend and got it filthy again lol We both work from home so don't really daily anything.

been daily for a year now, even with some upgrades its very reliable, have 42k miles now. took it to SC - 12 hour straight drive with 0 issues and back

Kind of a waste having all sorts of useful features on the car while she sits in the garage during the week day.. my daily driver don't have half of the amenities..

One day I might get that M240i AWD to replace my dd.. kind of butt ugly, but an AWD Supra kind of car is nice.. but low riding cars in 5" snow is pretty retarded too..

Interesting thread, missed it when it first was posted but thanks for the bump on this thread!

The Supra was not intended to be my daily driver, the RX8 was intended for that but was in an accident last year and have yet to get it repaired so the Supra took that role over. My job is about 1.5 miles away from the house so when I do take it out, not putting much miles on it. Though my mother in law is always out of the country and we bought her a Toyota iM (corolla hatch) back in 2018 so I use her car while she's out.

I have a FN2 Type R which is a lot of fun and just too good to get rid of. It's also super reliable and pretty easy on fuel. This allows me to keep the Supra off short drive to work duty and on Sunday/longer drive duty. While I'm finding more and more reasons to drive the Supra (even to work on occasion) I still try to avoid the rain because no good reason. ?

It does so good in rain for some reason, even with stock tires lol. Hardest part of DD it is keeping it clean and the paint chips?

On average I see 35-37 mpg on the hwy in my Supra depending on how fast I'm driving. Typically it sits right around or on 36.

I technically have 4 ways I can get around. I've got an old 99 silverado but I need to get rid of it. I haven't used it in a couple years. My daily is a 22 Mazda CX-30 at the moment but I want to get a Mazda 3, and I also have a 2012 R6 although I have not ridden that much the last couple of years between the Supra and before I got the Supra I had a 21 Mach 1 that I drove whenever I got a chance. I have a 30 mile commute to work so about 60 miles a day during the week so I try not to drive the Supra all the time especially cause I love taking it out of town when I go up to visit family/friends which is about 500 mile round trip.
