Hello, a couple of months back I pulled the fuse for the exhaust flap so it would be open on cold starts. I have now put a new exhaust on (it retained the factory valve) and it is much louder, so I want to have the exhaust flap closed when I start the car in the morning so my neighbors don't hate me too much. I have now put the fuse back in and the exhaust valve is still not closing on it's own or when I put it into comfort mode (I also made it so my car starts in Sport mode). I held down the BC button and toggled through the 3 options and can get the exhaust flap to close - I've checked this both visually and audibly - but it will only remain open or closed and when both of the turn signals go light up, signifying that it is back to the normal exhaust valve controls, the Sport button does not control the flap. I also put a new fuse in, the same size and amperage. If anybody has a suggestion for how to fix it please let me know!

when you switch back to OEM operation, you need to shut down the car to get it to save for whatever reason. I physically got out of the car and locked it to make sure it would stick.

i disabled the BC button operation in the jb4 menu after I figured that out.

So since I kept those settings and locked my car it should be all set for next time I start it?

Yep should be fine. No idea why you have to do that to make it save but it definitely works.

It worked! Thanks a bunch :) I was worried I might've affected something when I put the new exhaust in, big relief!

Ya you can override it to 3 settings, holding the BC button to toggle through them. Left turn signal, right turn signal or both signals. It’s open, closed or sport mode activated. Also you can’t change it while moving I have found out lol
