Hi all


i contacted FEMTO & i am sending my ECU to be unlocked. they told me that now they dont need to clone my ECU & they will unlock the orginal one.

my Supra HP aim is 500 - 550 hp not that big i know. i dont want to go super beast mood on it.

my quistion is. MHD OTS with downpipe is enough or i try to get ECUtek custom tune?

I am also curious, surely you still need to clone the ecu to access all the fun parts of memory, unless something magic happened

Clone is still required to access the canbus type options of Ecutek. So flexfuel, antilag, port injection etc.

But you can get 100% a custom tune via MGFlasher, MHD or BM3 with the unlock only.

For 500 hp you’ll want a custom tune. Since you don’t have ethanol there correct?

i can get it from a shop that for modified cars but it is not avilable like in the U.S. at he gas station.

my last contact with them was two days ago & they said it doesnt matter if its post or Pre june .
i will go through it & see

Its currently $1895 + small freight charge for the initial shipping for just the unlock. Overnight from Ohio to Visconti was like $40 extra, but there were 2 cheaper options. Clone is extra.

So they figured out how to unlock 2021+ECU’s? Why are they the only ones with this knowledge? We can’t do what the hellcat owners do and clone/unlock here?

Femto released the unlock in September 2021 I think. They are based in Russia/Europe. No one else has figured out how to yet, hence the need to send our ECU there post 6/20.

I work in IT, cloning an image is day one stuff, my follow up question is why are we sending this overseas? Are they cracking an encryption hash to do this? Im asking for recreation purposes.
